Next, we find the heart chakra. anhata, as it is also known, if found right in the middle of the chakra system. This is the chakra that deals with relationships. While it does deal with relationships involving love, it’s also about the relationship with our self. This chakra handles our deep emotions, our compassion and well-being. We must have these things for ourselves before we can freely and easily give it to others.

Linked to the color green, the heart chakra is related to the thymus, part of our immune and endocrine systems. When your heart chakra is out of balance, it may show itself as heart problems or chest pains, high blood pressure or immune system dysfunction. It may also show itself as increased stress in your life. To rebalance this chakra, try spending time outdoors (or indoors in this weather) around greenery, preferably living plants and grasses. It can also be helpful to spend time with positive friends and family.

The solar plexus chakra is also referred to as manipura, and is your power chakra. While this can refer to our physical power and strength, and also is linked to our inner power and strength. It is as much about our intelligence, self-control and confidence as it is our physical abilities.

This yellow chakra is linked to your adrenal cortex, where adrenaline comes from. When it is out of balance, it will become apparent through digestive troubles, ulcers, or memory problems. To rebalance this chakra, try getting some sunshine, exercising your mind with puzzles, and eating yellow foods.
